While this may seem like a straight forward question, the answer is not that simple. In general terms when you think of some thing as being free, it’s usually just that free. But what does free really mean? A few definitions of free are: able to act at will; not hampered; not under compulsion or restraint, exempt: grant relief or an exemption from a rule or requirement to or free from obligations or duties.

Now let’s take a look at that last one as it relates to free movies download websites. The one I’m talking about is “free from obligations or duties”. I’m no attorney or phd type guy. But it seems to me that free from obligation or duties would mean you owe nothing. So what exactly does this have to do with free movies download websites you may ask? Everything. In this article we’re going to answer the question, are there really free movies download websites. Oh hell, why wait. The answer is yes and no. So now, let’s get to it.

You Get What You Pay For With free movies download websites

But what are you really getting? Most people would love to download free movies if they could without paying. However, remember the saying.. “you get what you pay for”? Well it’s true. In most cases you’re getting exactly what you pay for, Nothing. More often then not the picture quality it terrible. That’s right, you hadn’t even thought about that possibility. But don’t be upset. Most people don’t. Every year, hundreds of thousands if not millions of computer hard drives crash beyond repair.

Ok I can hear you mumbling from here. You’re saying ” I only download from the top free movies download websites”. All my movies are good quality and I have the new X10-2B9C super protective firewall system that was designed by NASA test monkeys. Ok.. fair enough. But how about this one. Many of the file sharing and free movies download websites are illegal.

Ok, Ok.. I hear you mumbling again..”But there’s no way they are going to catch little ole me”.. You may have a valid point there little ole you. But let’s look at it like this. When you have hundereds of thousands, maybe millions of people downloading and thinking they are all..”little ole me’s”, guess what? None of you are “little ole me’s” anymore” Now you’re part of the big picture and the chances of your IP address being tracked and reported to the MPAA (Motion Picture Industry Association of America) and you being included in a huge class action law suit are pretty good.

So let’s get back to our initial question. Are there really free movies download websites? As I said earlier, the answer is yes and no. Yes they do exist, but with risks. If getting your movies from a free movies download websites means you getting poor quality movies, potentially getting a hard drive killing virus and/or potentially getting fined a lot of money and maybe even doing some jail time. If you’re ok with these risks, enjoy your downloading. If not. Consider your options. I’d suggest choosing a legal movie download website. It’s worth it in the long run.
