Free Access To Adobe’s Web-Based Video Editing Tools – Produce Your 0wn Graphics Quickly, Easily and Completely Stress Free

Free Access To Adobe’s Web-Based Video Editing Tools – Produce Your 0wn Graphics Quickly, Easily and Completely Stress Free

This is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. It’s a totally unique step-by-step video training system, designed to make any newbie user completely confident with Photoshop in record time. Just 2 hours from now you’ll be able to produce your own graphics quickly, easily and completely stress free!

Recently Adobe announced that it will release a free online version of its popular Photoshop image-editing software within six months. The online version of the program will be a stripped-down version of the application that has become an industry standard for graphics professionals.

The move is part of a larger effort by the company to bring key aspects of its software portfolio – which includes audio, video and graphics applications – online to draw advertising dollars and lure users into buying software upgrades. Until now, Adobe’s business has been based primarily on packaged software.

A sneak peek at online photography’s future: the company currently has four editions of its Photoshop software, beginning with the high-end CS2 package which is targeted to creative professionals all the way to the free Album Starter Edition which is for the casual photographer. The online offering will be more like the consumer products, according to Adobe.

Last month, the company also publicized that it was planning on entering a partnership with image- and video-hosting web site Photobucket in order to give the site’s 35 million users free access to Adobe’s web-based video editing tools.

At that time the company said that it expects to announce more partnerships with Internet companies over the coming months, and that the ventures would be driven by Adobe’s pursuit of higher advertising revenue and increased software upgrades from existing customers.

Plan on Photobucket features to become available to the site’s users sometime in March. As mentioned earlier, Adobe’s shift to free online applications follows similar moves by other software makers. Google (Charts), for instance, has released online word processing and spreadsheet software under the Google Docs banner.

Photoshop Contains Some Excellent Vector Tools

Photoshop Contains Some Excellent Vector Tools

Photoshop contains some excellent vector tools and features. But when it comes to creating artwork, experienced digital artists, illustrators, and designers rarely limit themselves to a single software application. It is no secret that when it comes to drawing with vectors, there is no better choice than Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator has been the industry-standard vector art tool for as long as I can remember.

I personally have been using it as an integral part of my digital toolset since 1991. The features and functions within Illustrator are unparalleled indeed, but what do you do when you want all the superb vector creation possibilities offered within Illustrator, yet you also want the superb paint tool features in Photoshop? The answer is simple: You combine the two applications.

And believe it or not, when it comes to creating a stunning Art Noveau masterpiece like the one you see here, you simply need to copy and paste. To put it simply: Photoshop and Illustrator play very well together. We will explore the advantages of bringing existing vector art from Illustrator into Photoshop and using it as vector building blocks to create the piece you see here.

More specifically, we will be pasting vector art into Photoshop, creating shape layers and paths as the Illustrator data makes its way into Photoshop. We will use paths to create selection borders, and We will duplicate and edit shape layers to suit a variety of purposes. Once the vectors are safely in place, we can employ Photoshop’s marvelous paint and composition tools, resulting in a nostalgic piece of art that is a combination of both sharp vectors and soft painted elements.

Generally, when I witness inexperienced users of Illustrator attempting to create artwork in a similar style, they rely on stroke attributes to create the outline in the image. An unfortunate result of this method is that there is little or no expressive quality in the line-work. What makes line-work expressive in the context of an illustration is the variation in thickness and the way the ends of each line taper, are sharp, or are rounded.

Granted, there are options within the Stroke palette that allow you to change the endpoints of the line; but again, like the uniform thickness of the stroke, those just aren’t expressive enough. The best way to achieve the desired expressive quality is to pay attention to the sketch. When we draw, something intuitive happens, and it becomes effortless or even a subconscious act to create expressive line-work. Within software it is a different story. We need to focus on preserving the innate, expressive quality of our drawing as we create the finished product.

This goal cannot be achieved by using stroke attributes but by creating each element manually with the Pen tool. However, there is more to it than simple mastery over the Pen tool. There is a logical method of construction, which involves creating an exterior shape first. The next step is to subtract an interior. This will give you your expressive outline. After that, details are created as closed shapes, and the result is unified. The Pathfinder palette plays a central role in this systematic drawing process.

Learn The Strategies of Photoshop CS3 Tools – How to Use Other Photoshop CS3 Tools

Learn The Strategies of Photoshop CS3 Tools – How to Use Other Photoshop CS3 Tools

Adobe has compiled many of its best-known programs along with several programs that it recently acquired from Macromedia into Adobe CS3. The suite includes original Adobe programs Photoshop and Illustrator as well as Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver. All of the programs have been upgraded with new features and all are now fully compatible with one another. Learn more about the features and benefits of Adobe CS3.

Adobe CS3 (Creative Suite 3) is a suite of products that combines traditional Adobe programs with programs that Adobe acquired and has since rebranded from Macromedia. The suite includes Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop. All of the programs in Adobe CS3 that were formerly Macromedia have been streamlined and given Adobe-like functionality. The entire suite now works seamlessly as a complete family of Adobe programs for designers and developers.

Dreamweaver

Adobe CS3 includes an upgraded version of Dreamweaver, formerly a Macromedia program. Not only is Dreamweaver now more readily compatible with other Adobe programs, but it also has the addition of the Spry framework providing Ajax capability. This enables designers to incorporate sophisticated functionality without the need for complicated programming skills by simply taking advantage of the built-in features of Dreamweaver CS3. Dreamweaver CS3 also has new standards capability with cascading style sheets.

In addition, Dreamweaver CS3 now has Adobe Device Central incorporated within the program. This allows users to preview and test Web pages on multiple devices with ease. The Adobe CS3 program also has advanced integration with Photoshop CS3 and can support multiple layers. Finally, designers and developers using Dreamweaver CS3 can perform easy browser compatibility checks and can check for cross-browser cascading style sheet rendering issues.

Flash

Another one of the new Adobe programs acquired from Macromedia is Flash. Flash CS3 is now using Action Script 3.0, an update and modification of Action Script 2.0. While 3.0 is backwards compatible, this portion of Adobe CS3 is also 30 times faster and has more object-oriented capabilities than 2.0, which is of great benefit for developers.

For designers, Flash in Adobe CS3 is easier to work with and has more streamlined panels. The program incorporates new drawing tools, including a new and enhanced pen tool that is more like that used in Illustrator. Flash CS3 also allows more control with corners when creating rectangular objects and easier creation of pie and donut shapes. The program as a whole is more intuitive and is easier to control with new object primitives. Additionally, Flash CS3 works with other Adobe programs and allows designers to copy and paste filters and motion tweens from one object to another without the need to reapply them. Flash CS3 also offers nine-slice scaling, offering users the ability to scale objects more intuitively and without distortion.

Finally, Flash CS3 incorporates Adobe Device Central and allows users to check applications on different devices. And Flash now has import support for Adobe programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, which can lead to enhanced image fidelity and editability that designers may have wished for in the past.

Fireworks

Fireworks has also been given a makeover as one of the new Adobe programs. The new Adobe CS3 version makes it easier to control and share symbols, to give them more robust attributes with Javascript, and to swap them. Plus, scaling has been enhanced in Fireworks CS3 so that you can now intelligently scale symbols with a nine-point system.

Additionally, in Fireworks CS3, you can add multiple pages to a single document for ease in mocking up Web sites. You can also have hierarchical layers in much the same way as is allowed in Adobe programs such as Photoshop. And it is much easier to bring files between Fireworks and Flash or Illustrator and Fireworks than ever before.

Photoshop

Photoshop CS3 has also been given a makeover and upgrade. The new version of one of the best-known Adobe programs now offers the ability to export an HTML file that the user can zoom in and out of (the “zoomify” feature). It also has new smart filters that can preserve data integrity and allow for nondestructive flexible modification of the images. Designers using Adobe CS3 can also convert images to monochrome with more control than before.

Plus, Photoshop can now analyze images and make recommendations for settings. It also offers an enhanced version of cloning and healing and also has updated color correction options. And there are many new tools in Adobe CS3 that designers can use to more finely tune images, from photo merge with advanced alignment bleeding to a refined edge feature. Photoshop also now has DICOM support and allows users to open, edit, and annotate single frames of radiological images. Finally, as with other Adobe programs, Photoshop also incorporates Adobe Device Central for easy previewing and testing of images on other devices.

Illustrator

Last but not least, Adobe CS3 includes an upgrade of Illustrator that offers important new features for designers and developers as well. As previously mentioned, Illustrator CS3 now has seamless integration with Adobe programs such as Flash CS3 and includes Symbols for easy animation. The program also offers new, upgraded drawing tools and a new vector tool. Illustrator CS3 also features “Live Color,” which allows the designer or developer to edit colors directly within the image.

Conclusion

Adobe CS3 is an important upgrade for designers and developers who were users of previous versions of Macromedia and Adobe programs. It brings all of these well-known programs together in a single package under a single brand. Users are likely to see immediate benefits with Adobe CS3, and the new features of the individual programs add even more functionality than existed in previous editions.

Hot Tricks For Photoshop CS3 Tools And Functions

Hot Tricks For Photoshop CS3 Tools And Functions

Photoshop CS3 gives its users some hugely improved features and tools compared to earlier releases of Photoshop. Once you take the time learn a few of the tricks Photoshop CS3 has in store for you, you’ll find you can edit your images with ease and panache.

Photoshop CS3 is decked out with a new intuitive interface. This may not be a very flashy trick, but it is one that you will appreciate; it makes all of Photoshop easier to use. Most of your screen is taken up by the drawing canvas. You can make your toolbox one or two columns. Your palettes docked or minimized. There are four different options for the full screen mode.

Smart Filters are one of the most long-awaited tricks for CS3. Smart filters are filters that you can apply and then edit or remove without destroying your work. First, make your image a Smart Object using the Layers palette. Then apply and edit your filters. It is possible to toggle your filters on and off. This trick is especially cool when presenting different views of a graphic to a client.

One of the coolest tricks with Photoshop CS3 tools holds is its ability to bend and align multiple photos to create a seamless panoramic image. In the past, even the most carefully shot and stitched photos would still have some discrepancies in the skyline or foliage. Now, simply put two slightly overlapping photos in a single layer, go to Edit, and select Auto-Bend Layers. Photoshop will create a seamless photo for you. If you have three or more pictures, place them all in separate layers, go to Edit and select Auto-Align Layers. Once this is complete, use the Auto-Bend option to create a great panoramic shot.

You no longer need the magnetic lasso tool in Photoshop CS3. Instead click on the Quick Selection tool. It will show you areas of your image that you may want to select, such the people in the foreground. Couple this trick with the new Refine Edge function and you’ll get seamless edits without extra jagged lined or bumps every time.

The black and white adjustment has been beefed up on CS3. Previously, if you wanted to quickly create a grayscale image from a color photo you would lose a lot of depth and shading. Now, Photoshop allows you to click a few buttons and drag a few sliders to create your perfect black and white image. The sliders correspond to the original red, blue, and green shades in your original photo. You can also use the adjustment trick to create a sepia-toned or duo tone image.

Camera Raw also has a few tricks up its sleeve. Most prominently, you can open jpeg and tif files in Camera Raw. Previously only raw files were allowed, discriminating against those of use with less sophisticated digital cameras. While the same corrections and compressions are still in place, you are just able to use Camera Raw controls on jpeg files.

There are still many more tricks available in Photoshop CS3. Take advantage of the huge amount of literature on the web to learn more.
