Question by kodiaks_mom: How do I make return address labels with clip art pics on them using Microsoft Works?
I can’t figure it out. I know how to copy and paste the clip art I want and I know how to put the name and address on the label but I can’t figure out how to put the the two together on the label. All help appreciated. Thank you in advance

I don’t believe Works is smart enough to do that. I think you need Microsoft Publisher for that. I can’t even get Word to do that.
I put clipart on my cards using Word, but I am cheap and retired.

vids by Warhol include Sleep, Empire, Eat, and Chelsea Girls to name a few. the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh has the video collection and shows the vids sometimes. you could check with them for items in collections of museums you can visit (the site is warhol.org). btw Sleep is a nice real-time vid that was inspiring a contemporary artist (Sam Taylor-Wood) to do something similar on the subject of David Beckham sleeping (vids on you tube)

Question by forever wild.: How do I save GIFs on my mac laptop so I can upload them on to Tumblr later?
I want to be able to upload gifs onto Tumblr but I don’t know how to save them or where to save them or then how to upload them. So, if you could help that’d be fantasticccc.

Simply right click on the GIF in question and choose to save it to your hard drive. I do not use Tumblr myself, but there will most likely simply be an upload button on that website once you are logged in.

I’ve created some animated gifs in photoshop cs4 extended and when i upload them to myspace they have static or noise in them why is this? And how can i remove it and prevent it from happening?

this happens usually to save space, they are compressing the file making it look like that.

if you want to prevent this you need to upload to photobucket.com or another host. and use the html coding they provide to display the images

I have a few gifs I’m looking to edit. Mostly crop, but there’s one or two I would like to delete the last few frames from. I was wondering why every time I do these things in my Photoshop Elements 7 the gifs become really slow. Is there a certain way I need to save them? Or can it just not be done in Photoshop Elements 7?

I’m not looking to download any programs, free or otherwise.

File > Save for Web… will give you a dialog that lets you specify the frame timing, although it doesn’t let you time each frame.

You’re better off using a different program. Even the simple Microsoft GIF Animator can help:

Even then, certain browsers like IE might not show the GIF correctly.
