Q&A: When you take a short movie clip with your camera, how do you upload it to Facebook?

Question by DA: When you take a short movie clip with your camera, how do you upload it to Facebook?
I don’t understand anything about encoding or formatting, so please explain it in a way that I can understand.

When I try to upload to Facebook it takes three hours then times out, but it only took me i minute to film. It’s a digital Canon camera.

I have Windows Vista and Firefox.

Answer by AB McK
It shouldn’t really matter which format the clip is currently in as FB seems to be able to handle dozens of formats. You don’t need to do anything with your clip, they do the work for you –resizing etc.

According to FB this can take ” a few hours”— “Unlike photos, the video-upload process isn’t always immediate. The video files you upload need to be converted into another format, which can take some time”

How do you take blurry free pictures without using flash in a low light environment?

Question by _leana_: How do you take blurry free pictures without using flash in a low light environment?
I often take pictures of a metal band on stage and i just wanted know how i can take them without being blurry. I know it has something to do with the shutter speed i believe. Is it possible to change the shutter speed on my camera,,,GE A730 Digital Camera… or does it have to do with something else? Possibly the EV value or the ISO level? If so, would you have to lower either one or raise it?

Thank You for any info.

How long does it take to shoot a typical short film?

Question by Everly: How long does it take to shoot a typical short film?
I am auditioning for a short film Sat. and I’ve never done film before. If I were to get the part, how long does it usually take to film? What should I expect? Can I email the producer (with whom I set up the audition) and ask him what the production schedule is like or would that be a faux pas?

Best answer:

Answer by kyle
Well it still varies
I’ve edited some thats been done in less than a week
but they have 15+ hr days

so depends all on the film… it gets done when it gets done

Well when i edit i go through at least 100 of film for a short movie

Is it wrong to take clipart off office?

Question by mae: Is it wrong to take clipart off office?
I seem to be making some mistakes as far as plagiarism and imitation issues. I don’t want to do anything that’s wrong. My instructor told me to create a ppt on CD-ROM and DVDs. I did using clipart from Microsoft Office Online. But she informed me that it was plagiarism. I’m well aware of the meaning of plagiarism, but I thought all the clipart on there was free. Is it still wrong to use it in your designs and presentations?

Best answer:

Answer by My Computer
You can use them for your presentations and documents, as long as your MS Office isn´t pirated.
