Question by lïght gärnët: Any good free graphic design software out there?
Hi, I’m looking for a simple graphic design software that I can get free.
I just want to make some image (jpg/gif) for my web page project. I don’t have Adobe Illustrator on my laptop and I’m just lazy to go school just to use Illustrator on the school computers..

Any good software that you can recommend me?
Thansk!

Best one out there is Gimp. Lots of Photoshop-type features, and it’s open source software (free). With lots of tutorials and documentation on Youtube and other locations on the net… Link for download for mac and PC below…

Photoshop Elements, about $ 99 or less. Used software can be found on Amazon as well. However, it’s worth it to own Photoshop and/or InDesign. Ask your friends/instructors—some of them might have the older versions and not using it.

How do I get this onto my iPhone?
There are a number of ways to do this, however I think the easiest and fastest way is to download Flickr’s free app. Within the Flickr app you surf over to my photo feed to view the images (if you make me a contact then I’ll appear in the flickr contact list). When you find one you like, just click the download button and save the image directly to your phone. Quick & Simple!

I don’t have an iPhone. Can I still use it on my phone?

Is it easier to use Mac graphic software if you are a beginner?

Question by Maria: Is it easier to use Mac graphic software if you are a beginner?
I used Adobe photoshop and Corel to do some graphic design on a PC in another country, I don’t have it anymore, now I want to buy a new computer and software and start learning how to use it with specific goals, A childrens book with my on illustrations (traditional media) scan them and enhance them electronically, I’m thinking on getting the newer g4 mac laptop 17″ screen, but Im not sure If I would have to learn all the basics of using a computer don’t want to waste time but make it easier for me.

I’m a Mac user but if you’re used to Windows then you may as well stick with it. Photoshop is very similar on both platforms.

Q&A: What 3d graphic software does Activision use?

Question by : What 3d graphic software does Activision use?
I need to know there software quickly.
What Software did they use to make Crash of the titans and Crash mind over the mutant?

Best answer:

Answer by Hassan
Activision has a bunch of different studios , which they have acquired over many years, so they may not even have a single application that they use.

However if you look at Call of Duty, back in 08, they released a making of, and the artists working on that can be clearly seen using Maya.
