I do not have internet at home so i was wondering if there was a place i could download the manuals for free, preferably from Adobe themselves, because all i have right now is the what comes with the program offline, and that is hardly anything and not very helpful.

I bought Photoshop Elements but am a complete beginner. I read the manual and have tried using the help feature but am really frustrated. Is there an easy tutorial or something that will teach me the basics in simple terms? The main things I want to learn are: How to cut objects out of a photo, How to lighten/darken a specific area, How to use layers. Thanks!

I have Photoshop CS3, and would like to know the major differences between that and Photoshop Elements. I RARELY work with photos, and mostly do illustrations using the paint brush, custom shapes, shapes, polygonal lasso, lasso, eraser, and of course the FX. Does elements have all this?

Okay, for Elements, it has the paint brush and all the brushes that come with Photoshop, it has all the custom shapes that come with Photoshop and lassos, the eraser of course, and by FX, what do you mean? The only real illustration tool Elements doesn’t have is the Pen Tool.

I made a 6-minute video using premier elements by Adobe and it’s over 1GB in size. I need to cut that down quite a bit to be able to upload it to YouTube. I’m assuming there is a way to save it to a size that would be ideal for YouTube.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 installed on my computer. I purchased a third part instruction manual, “The Photoshop Elements 5 Book for Digital Photographers” by Scott Kelly. Without going into detail, this is an awful book. It’s almost as if he’s talking about some other software.
Can you recommend a really good instruction manual for this software, that you’ve used and found to be very useful?

Hey!
Thinking of getting adobe premiere elements 7. The video editor. Heard its a pretty good software. BUT I heard you have to register to adobe to have all that it offers. I’m not going to register cuz its too much money. So what wont I be able to use if I don’t register.

Without registering, you are on the “trial”. This has limits such as 30 days of use, limited features, etc. Registering it is basically just paying for it. That is the only (legal) way to get the software without limitations.
