Question by kiokushite: How to draw a circle looked down at 45 degree in Adobe Illustrator?
Hi. A real Illustrator beginner here. Just started it today. But right at the beginning I encountered with a problem. I want to draw a circle looked down at 45 degree (if you look at a Square at this angle, it will look like a trapezoid). I tried to do so in may ways but all I could do was to elongate it horizontally or vertically.
draw the square again, then place circle in square and group then transform square, and circle transforms as well, then ungroup, and move square to side and view,
the screen is virtual piece of paper, if you drew image on paper you would place similar with use of french curves, should end up looking like swimming pool, egg shape, or the top of coffee cup view,
__________
other option to draw in 3d view on angle use as template,

davindageek.weebly.com Ok, I had a few friends ask me how I draw, so I thought I would put a quick video together to show you how I get the work done. The video will speed up when I start drawing, The real picture too about 10 to 15 minutes to make, and lol I still wasn’t done xD, lol no it’s not the best picture ever made, but I just made it to show how I do things. On the other hand the crappy animation you’ve seen in the begging was made by me, lol youtube or the process in rendering the video has skipped some keyframes in the animation. So it doesn’t look as good as it really should. I used flash to make it,link to it here www.youtube.com , and a quick note. I will do a video on how to use Adobe Flash Cs4 soon. and check out my other video on how to use the pentool www.youtube.com Donate: www.paypal.com Video Rating: 4 / 5
In this tutorial I go over my technique for drawing a cartoon character. This was once a premium tutorial that contained a sample file. Since I have now made this tutorial available for the public, that sample file is no longer available with this tutorial.

Answer by rados_uhs It is much easier if you got a good photo of it, and you can find tons of those on internet, look for those with white or black background, and select the background with magic wand tool ( or select color tool ) and erase it. Fine tune the crop as you wish and fill in with paint bucket if you need one color only. This is the fastest way.
