We need that code, so with your chosen clip, copy and paste the code into Notepad. Once you have it there, you need to get the URL of the actual video from that code. The video URL will look something like this : http://www.youtube.com/v/TGBFuughf54 Once you have found that URL, you will need to copy and paste it into a web browser. This will bring the video up as a full screen clip inside your web browser. When this happens, press play and wait for the video to load as before.

If you look now, you will see that the URL you typed in has changed somewhat, it usually grows quite a lot longer. In the new URL you should see some text which says “watch_fullscreen.” Once you have located that text within the new URL you need to change it to “get_video” Once changed you simply have to hit return and the Ipod video will be ready to download in the same way as downloading anything else, so just save it to your desktop or wherever is convenient.

What we need to do now is to change the file type of the movie-as standard they are Flash Video Files, with the extension .FLV, which won’t work on a video IPOD so we will need to use some special software to convert them to MPEG4. It doesn’t take too long to convert it once you have the right software, so you’re almost home and dry!

The very last step is to import the video file that you created into Itunes, and then download it into your Ipod as you usually would.
