C K M Rao, winner of the prestigious National Award and an acclaimed documentary film maker showcased in international and national fora, moved to Mumbai to be a part of the film industry after qualifying as a cinematographer from SJP Bangalore. The glamour and glitz of Mumbai soon waned and he was eager to be associated with more meaningful work. His quest led him to the Films Division, run by the I&B Ministry This was the only organization making documentaries and news reviews at the time. He did not completely break his ties with the Mumbai industry but took up assignments for the Films Division. Here he got an opportunity to film real life. He made many short films and documentaries. He worked as a news correspondent filming the Bangladesh war, riots, calamities and any such events which created news at the time. The range of his films comprises of biographies , development activities, social issues, performing artistes and Scientific.
Awards and Recognitions He has won 3 National Awards for Photography and Direction One National Award(1998) for the film CANCER His films have been showcased in international film festivals viz., Italy, Berlin, Crackowa(Poland) and Mumbai. Question by DeWayne: I need help using Adobe CS3, can anyone guide me in the right direction?
I have adobe cs3 on my computer and I want to use it to edit videos and pictures. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do most of what it is capable of doing. Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial that is easy to understand and isn’t some kid on youtube just talking?
