Question by Chris: How much is invested on a video game’s cover art?
I was just wondering, how much money is spend on a video game’s cover art (the art that is on the front of a video game box)? Or how much of the budged is usually spend on the cover art?
I’m asking this because I really really like cover art of Call of Duty: World at War, and I was wondering how much money was spend on creating that picture.

A detailed guide on how to make a book cover in photoshop, however it can be used as a brochure or poster etc. I hope you enjoy. Also if you haven’t noticed i had to speed my voice up to 120% so the video was under 10 minutes long, this may mean you have to frequently pause the video if you are following along with the tutorial in photoshop.

I don’t like the covers my publisher offers, can I use clip art from word to use as a cover design for my book?

That might beg the question of whether or not you’ll have to pay Microsoft to use their clipart. If you’re not going to profit off of it, then Microsoft probably isn’t going to care how you use it. But you’re looking at having your book published so they might see the use of their clipart in a book your having published as profiting off their work. At which point they’ll probably want you to start paying for the artwork even though you got it for free when you either purchased the computer or the Word software.
