I once tried downloading Adobe photoshop, and I guess during the installation, it ended up downloading a bunch of files with it. (I’m viewing this in the Add or Remove programs in my control panel) and I want them gone. Everytime I try to delete these it says that I have to install something and says it’s failed. I don’t have a mac/book, but you might have somehow enabled it to autohide or something like the Windows taskbar. I don’t know if an Apple has autohide, but if it does just put your mouse all the way to the bottom of the screen.
