I wanted to redo this one, as it just felt better with color. I love the way how everything seems to be pointing at the guy walking.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center, on the grounds of the Spa State Park. It’s funny to think about how many different types of events take place here. Dave Matthews always plays here in June, a show which attracts crowds from across the state and even out of state. There’s also the New Yok City Ballet…quite a different crowd. And then there’s the numerous high school graduations, including my own.

How do I change the color of symbols in Adobe Illustrator CS2?

Question by Lindsay: How do I change the color of symbols in Adobe Illustrator CS2?
I am using an arrow symbol (an Illustrator “stock symbol”, not one I created) in a logo I am designing in Adobe Illustrator CS2 and need to change the color from standard black to white – any idea how to do this? I found a tutorial online but it didn’t seem to work with this version of Illustrator. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Go to Window > Color. This will open the Color Palette. Then go to Window > Swatches. This will open the Swatches Palette.

These Palettes will allow you to edit the color. Just select the arrow and click on the swatch color you want or move the bars on the color palette to change them. If you need any more help you can contact me anytime. I’m a freelance graphic designer and I’d be happy to help you in any way.

My color of my clip art and pictures) have great color. When I print the color is way different. Help?

Question by Gina B: My color of my clip art and pictures) have great color. When I print the color is way different. Help?
I have tried two different printers: a color laser and a inkjet. Both printed out the clip art and/or picture way off on color tone. I think it might be my computer transmitting wrong color info. Is that possible. I need a solution.
Both printers I have tried were new with new ink, same problem. Its not the printer, I believe it has something to do with the way Windows is transmitting the color.

Q&A: How to color behind black lines on adobe photoshop elements 9?

Question by Alicia: How to color behind black lines on adobe photoshop elements 9?
I have adobe photoshop elements 9 and I want to color in a hand drawn picture on my computer but in all the tutorials I’ve watched they have always colored behind the lines of the actual picture. I can’t figure out how to do this on my version of photoshop so if anyone knows how to, please tell me. It would be a big help and I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

You need to use layers.

Use your line drawing as a separate layer and change it’s setting to ”Multiply”. You’ll see at the top of the layers toolbox, it defaults at ”Normal” click the drop down arrow, and you’ll find ”Multiply”

Then add a new layer to add your colours. Your black lines will show through the colour and the white will become transparent.
