I am trying to transfer our adobe ad that was received in an email from a magazine for us to proof into the website I am building on yahoo. Your instructions will have to be simple as I am pretty new at this. Can you help me?

The key is when you save it.
Go to “file” at the top and then “save as”
Find the drop down menu for all the file types and look for jpeg,jpg
That should do it!
Simple and easy.

Only vector drawings have the capability to remain unaffected when they are resized. So you have to make your logo in Illustrator if you want it that way. About setting resolution in Illustrator, this tutorial will show you how to do:

Ok, I tried posting my Abobe Illustrator creation to Deviant Art, but I can’t change the format to png or jpg, because I tried changing the type but it’s LOCKED in only Illustrator format. I tried renaming it and opening it in my other picture programs, but it says it can’t open. Someone please help!

Try using screen capture then. Or print to PDF and then use Adobe Reader to copy an image.

ive made the layout and now ive added text on top of the background for naivigation

You have to do that in DW, If you’re using images for your text nav links, just create slices for the text in the hover color of your choice. If you’re using regular text, use css to change the color –
a:hover { color:hex value here;}

Ok so i made a siganture for a website with adobe photoshop and i saved the file. But i want to make the text font bigger. I opened the file with photoshop again but it only show 1 layer and i can’t change the font size. How can i make the font size bigger?

If you saved the signature in a format other than Photoshop (example: jpeg, ect.,) you can’t edit it anymore. If you are not sure whether or not you want to change a Photoshop project, don’t save it in another format…Save it in photoshop. It can always be changed later that way.
