I currently shoot with a 5dmk2, which generate sizable RAW files. I am looking for a laptop that would work well with photoshop cs4. I am debating between a laptop with the new core i7 or the macbook pro. I am looking for reliability as well as color accuracy and performance. Any suggestions?

I would recommend a more value for money laptop which would fulfill your purpose. Macbook Pro wont be able to handle such graphical works.

The present Macbook Pro with Core2Duo is a kid in front of these two laptops. Both the above laptops would be about 70-80% more powerful than the Macbook pro. Macbooks have NVIDIA 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 which is quite useless for graphical works like heavy Photoshop editing.
